MANY THINGS TO DO WITH ENGLISH: ESLgold

    Hello everyone!

This week i am again with you with a recommendation of a website whose main purpose is teaching English. But initially lets start with a definition of website. What is a website?

A website, also written as web site, or simply site, is a collection of  related web pages, including multimedia content, typically identified with a common domain name, and published on at least one web server. The website that i chose for you is ESLgold.

What is the content of the website? Who is the target audience?

A quiz example from ESLgold

ESLgold is a website which provides thousands of free resources and information for both students and teachers. All materials in it are organized by skill level for quick and easy access. The target audiences are students and teachers. You can choose your level and then you can improve your English level according to it.Unfortunately, there is no information about its author, as i researched.

ESLgold has thousands of exercises about 4 major skills which are Speaking, Listening,Writing, Reading. There are grammar explanations, grammar exercises, topics for conversation, videos for vocabulary memorization or grammar rules and so on.There are also textbook recommendations for TOEFL/ TOEIC examinations.

Some points that ı didn't like about ESLgold:

• This site would be more funny it there were many more learning games especially for young learners.
• We do not have any information about how often the site has been updated.

Lastly i strongly recommend this website to teachers for being able to have lots of materials for their classes and i strongly recommend this to students and almost everyone who wants to be able to practice and study language out of the classroom.

That's all for now, so i will see you next week :)
